There are 2 ways of making felt. The traditional ‘wet’ method or the modern ‘needle’ method. Both have their attractions and detractions, enabling you to create fabulous materials or pieces of art. The choice is yours! Sue will give you her undivided attention and everything you make you keep. There are no hidden extras. The use of materials and equipment are included in the course fee of £25 per hour per student. A resume of typical courses are set out below so you can have some idea about course content.

A WET FELTING COURSE: 4 hours tuition
to felt EITHER 2 x A4 flat pieces to experiment using different techniques
to achieve your objectives.
OR a felt a seamless hat OR beret to fit you
OR 1 x A5 seamless bag.
You will be using merino or Corriedale wool tops and dyed fleece.
Price: £100.00 per person
A NEEDLE FELTING COURSE: 4 hours tuition
Creating pictures or 3D objects using fibres and fabrics.
Or felt a small toy. Price: £100.00 per person
Each student is given an Ideas book and a Project book in which they can write notes during the course and add to as they progress with their chosen craft.
